HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION WITH STEPHANIE DIETRICH PHOTOGRAPHY?
Great question! There are a couple of different ways you can book a session with SDP, but the easiest would be to go to the top of the page and click on the “INQUIRE” button. Here you will be asked to enter your name and contact information and leave some information about the type of session you are looking for. I will then contact you to set up a time to either meet in person or speak on the phone to go over the details of your session as well as pricing.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SESSION FEE?
In order to book a session you will need to pay the session fee at the time of booking. Nothing goes on my calendar until the Session Fee is paid. The session fee covers quite a few things, including, the time I take in planning your session, and answering any and all questions you may have. It also covers the time at the actual session, generally this is an hour but sometimes they will exceed that. The session fee also covers the post processing time, and the reveal and ordering session.
WHERE WILL THE SESSION TAKE PLACE?
The possibilities are endless! I am a natural light photographer so most sessions happen outside, however, I love to do in home lifestyle sessions as well. We can discuss the different options and decide what will fit your vision the best. I am always excited to add new locations to my portfolio so please don’t hesitate to share any location ideas!
HOW SOON DO I GET TO SEE MY PHOTOS? WILL YOU POST A “SNEAK PEEK” ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
At the end of your session we will schedule a time for you to come to my office for a Reveal and Ordering Session. These are scheduled about two weeks after your photo session. In the two weeks between your photo session and your reveal and ordering session you will be so excited to see your pictures, but trust me when I say “good things come to those who wait.” I don’t post sneak peeks of your sessions before your reveal and ordering sessions. Don’t be bummed, this makes your reveal and ordering session that much better! Plus don’t you want to be the first person to see your photos?? Instead of hearing about them from your co-worker!? Trust me.
WHAT IS A REVEAL & ORDERING SESSION ANYWAY?
The Reveal and Ordering session is one of my favorite parts of my business. (It’s also a new part of my business, if you’ve worked with me before you may not be familiar with this either.) So let me explain. At your R&O Session is when you will see your photos for the first time. You will watch a slideshow with all of your beautiful images and then be able to physically sort through your favorites using the physical proofs. Not only do you get to view all of your photos at this session but I also get to help you order your awesome products at this session. We will design wall art for you and albums, I’ll help you pick out gift prints, as well as design cards and announcements! We will work together to make sure you have heirloom quality products to hang on your walls, place on shelves and tables and pass down to your kids, and their kids and their kids.

I work with multiple industry leading professional print labs to provide you with products that will last generations. Each vendor has been carefully chosen by me to ensure the highest quality products. I have calibrated my computer screen to their printers to ensure that what you see on the screen is what will be printed for your products. I NEVER use consumer discount printing services for any products. I pride myself in providing you with products that look good and will stand the test of time.
