They are BAAAAACK! It seriously never gets old photographing the Little family. Stephanie and David are so smitten over their little boy it makes taking their pictures so much fun. It feels like just yesterday we were wrestling a giant cluster of balloons for their gender reveal photos, and now Wyatt is already 6 months old!

Just look at how these two look at their little boy. Their journey to start their family was not as easy as it is for some but these pictures prove that good things come to those who wait. I’m sure they will tell you the same thing, Wyatt was absolutely worth the struggle.

Can we talk about his faces?! Seriously this kid was cracking me up. I swear he was messing with me. He would smile and laugh at me and as soon as I brought my camera up to take a picture he would suck that bottom lip in and give me the “Blue Steel.”

Another thing that helps these photos look so awesome is the fact that Stephanie ROCKS at picking out outfits! She also rocks mustard! I need her to come dress me every morning! Only 6 more months before I get this family in front of my camera again! I can’t wait to see what we come up with for his One Year Pictures. I know you wont want to miss it though!

When I first met Darci and Kyle I could tell they were a super laid back couple. They love the Iowa Hawkeyes, Rock music and Darci LOVES the color lime green! I think their engagement pictures perfectly depict their laid back style. Of course we had to incorporate the Hawkeyes!

Their laid back personalities made it especially easy to take their pictures. If they were nervous at all I couldn’t tell one bit. We had fun and laughed a lot. Aside from Kyle almost loosing his shoe there were no casualties.

I’m always up for an adventure and the location Kyle and Darci picked was just that! There was everything a nature lover could want. Fields with tall grass, trees and woods, and also an awesome bridge over swamp land! I loved it and will absolutely go back!

Kyle was hoping we would get lucky and find a deer shed but no such luck. Instead we got some awesome pictures, which is a win in my book! I can’t wait for their September wedding, keep and eye out for more from them!

I’m such a slacker. This beautiful mama to be’s post has been ready to go for way longer then I want to admit. Things have just been crazy in my personal life and I had to prioritize some things. But with all the behind me, I’m ready to show you these beautiful images. Kodi so kindly volunteered her bump and her bathtub so I could try out something new. That to you think of these gorgeous milk bath maternity photos?!

Kodi is an absolutely gorgeous lady to begin with and then you add the pregnancy glow and holy cow! I told her I had this crazy idea and she immediately was all in. She even volunteered her new master bath tub which was AH-MAZING!

Neither of us really knew what we were doing or how the milk bath photos would turn out, but I have to say I am SO HAPPY with them!

I can’t wait to get her in front of my camera again! Next time it will be her real maternity photos and then I get snuggles with baby George when he makes his appearance! I can’t wait!

I’m so excited to get to finally share these photos with you! Matt and Charla are super good friends and I was so excited when Matt FINALLY popped the question! The universe has tried everything to tear these two apart but in the end they were and still are meant to be together! Which makes me SOOOOO happy! So here you have it Matt and Charla’s long awaited engagement photos!

Matt & Charla Engagement PINIMAGE

Seriously look at these two and how much love there is between them. We debated on having their daughter Winnie join them in the pictures but decided against it. Not that I don’t love Winnie because I so do, but I’m so glad we decided to have just the two of them. I think as parents you forget what it’s like before you had your littles. I think this really helped capture that relationship for them.

What you can’t tell in these pictures is that it was SO COLD. I know I said the same thing in Matt and Melissa’s post but this was way colder. We met in the morning so they had to leave their nice warm beds to be tortured by me and my camera. There may or may not have been some swear words shot at me when I asked them to sit on the bridge in the snow but come on, I’d say it was totally worth it!

Side note, isn’t her ring GORGEOUS! Matt did such a good job picking it out! A fun fact about their proposal, the ring was hiding in the boots Charla wore for the pictures! Matt said he had a Christmas gift he wanted her to open early and gave her the boots all wrapped up. When she went to try them on BAM! there was the ring! What a trickster! I loved that we were able to incorporate the boots in the shoot! Something they will always remember 🙂

Unfortunately for you I wont be shooting their wedding. Not because they didn’t want me to but because the asked me to be in it! I can’t wait to help them celebrate their big day! But don’t worry this will not be the last time they are in front of my camera!

I’ve decided that, although its still some what of a work in progress, it’s time to show off my office to you! Without further a due I give you the Office Tour of Stephanie Dietrich Photography!

Stephanie Dietrich PhotographyPINIMAGE

This is the view right inside the door. Believe it or not I found that desk in the alley! It needed a lot of work but a little elbow grease, sand paper, paint and stain and I brought it back to life!

Stephanie Dietrich PhotographyPINIMAGE

This is a straight on shot of my work space. This is where I edit photos, send emails, update social media. Sometimes I’m productive sometimes I’m not.. You know it’s a struggle!

Stephanie Dietrich PhotographyPINIMAGE

This is a display shelf hangs on the wall right next to my work area. It holds some very special photographs. While I have some of my work on there, Emily my 2016 senior is there on the end and little miss Harper is on that beautiful Acrylic block in the middle. There are also a few pictures I didn’t take. The two black and white pictures on the very end are prints I picked up at an antique shop a while back. Not only am I obsessed with printing photos now, I also love super old photos that survive the test of time!

Now down to the nitty gritty.. there are two remaining photos on that shelf. That beautiful young lady in the middle of the shelf is Jenn. Jenn is my cousin who’s life was taken too soon. She was the happiest little lady who LOVED Prince Eric from the little mermaid! The second meaningful photo on that shelf is the handsome man in blue. That’s my papa, and just like Jenn he was taken way to soon. I think about these two a lot and how much I miss them. I think every day how much my papa would have loved Nick and how much Jenn would have loved to be a part of our wedding. I can’t bring them back but having photos of them really helps keep their memories alive. Just another HUGE reason why my focus is on physical prints and physical prints that are heirloom quality.

Stephanie Dietrich PhotographyPINIMAGE

Alright enough with the deep stuff I’ve got more to show you! Including this BEAUTIFUL camera bag! I love this thing and I get compliments on it all the time! This beauty came from The House Of Flynn and it’s amazing. All her bags are amazing and to top it off she is the sweetest most hardworking lady ever! I’m so glad to support a small business like her!

PS You could totally use her Evermore bag as a diaper bag, you mamas should definitely check it out. Coach and Michael Kors got nothing on The House Of Flynn!

This is probably the part of my office that has the most potential. This is my client seating area. This is where clients sit when we meet for consultations and where they sit to sort through their proofs at their reveal and ordering sessions. I need to get some beautiful wall art hung and maybe a rug and I think it will look a little better. For now it works great, and I love having an area to meet with my clients. It’s part of the Stephanie Dietrich Photography experience!

Stephanie Dietrich PhotographyPINIMAGE

This is another part of my office dedicated to my clients! We use these shelves to sort through the like vs the love photos and visualize how they look up on a wall. I love this part of my business. It’s important to me that my clients have physical proofs to sort through. I am very much a tangible learner so having something for my clients to hold was a no brainer to me!

Stephanie Dietrich PhotographyPINIMAGE

This is a fun little detail. I LOVE rubber stamps. LOVE them! My business cards are made with rubber stamps, I use them in my packaging and my thank you cards. So when I found this awesome vintage stamp holder at the Black Dog Junk booth inside The Wild Thing I had to get it! I think it fits in perfect with the rest of my office!

I hope you enjoyed my office tour! If you ever want to come check it out in real life don’t hesitate to contact me! I’d love to have you over for coffee!

XOXO – Stephanie
